Initial Set-up:
Launch youTip, then touch on a gear to the far right to edit a single rating preference. Touch the name to edit the preference, personalize it depending on what’s important to you, then give it importance (1 = low importance, 5 = high importance). Add a rating preference by clicking the ‘add a new preference’ button on the bottom of the screen. To change the order of your rating preference, simply touch the move icon on the far right once (you will then see a red delete icon appear on the left), then tap and hold the order icon to slide it to a new position. To delete a rating preference, touch the order icon on the right, then touch the red delete icon on the left to display the delete button (touch the button that says ‘delete’ on the right to remove a rating preference). When you are done, touch the save button on all open rating preferences. Lastly, touch the ‘Min | Max Tip’ button on the top left of the screen. Choose your minimum tip % and maximum tip % when you are at a restaurant, then hit the done button.

How do youTip:
Add your total bill by tapping the Check Amount button on the top right of the screen. Then choose a Star Rating for each rating preference you want to weigh in for calculating the tip amount by touching a star field. If you don’t want a particular rating preference to be calculated, simply don’t give it a star rating. To split the bill, tap the people button on the lower right and choose how many people will be splitting the tab. To view just the tip amount, or the tip percentage, simply tap the equals sign to the left of the total on the very bottom of the screen. There is also an info button on the lower left that has a quick tutorial of youTip and a little information about us (Back Pocket Apps).

This is by far the best tip calculator I have seen on iTunes. This allows you to set up your own personal criteria for figuring out a tip. Pretty slick. Check it out, it’s super nice. I used it the other night and split the bill with 2 other couples. Everyone at the table was like wow, nice app man, what’s it called. We all sat at the table and rated our service, split the bill, then passed the phone around so we could all write in our totals. Slick is all I have to say.

This is the Hearing and Vision Test. Quite simply the most accurate and amazing application out there to measure your hearing and vision. Download the iPhone/iPod application from iTunes, then read the instructions below before launching the application for the first time. Once you launch the app, it will immediately start with the test. once you have completed the test you will get your score at the end. It’s that simple.

Instructions (Start):

Step 1:
Turn up the volume on your device to a comfortable level (around ¾ max). – For the most accurate results, please use headphones or speakers.

Step 2:
Hold the iPhone approximately 12 inches (1 foot) from your nose.

Step 3:
Launch the app. The app will immediately begin with the hearing test. Follow the instructions on the screen. For the hearing test, you need to tap the screen every time you hear a tone. Once you have completed the hearing test, you will then start the vision test. This test will display various letters and numbers. Every time you see a letter or number, please say that letter out loud. Once both test are completed you will be given your results at the very end.
